We have all been very unsettled by the current situation with the Coronavirus and no doubt there is a lot of worry and concern amongst the children and young people in your school, parents and staff. We know that you are very familiar with what’s important at times like these - providing opportunities where children, young people and adults feel safe, and if appropriate feelings can be discussed within a safe context, but at the same time trying as much as possible to maintain a sense of normality, routine and calm. EPCS Critical Incident Support
The Educational Psychology Consultation Service has a long-established Critical Incident response and support service to Local Authority funded schools across the two boroughs. Our model is one of immediate response to school senior leadership teams offering support, particularly where a school may be feeling overwhelmed. Time is allocated for all EPs to provide support to schools affected by a traumatic event. All EPs have had training in the area of bereavement and loss and critical incidents. Our Core and Traded Offer
During the 2020 Summer Term, at the present time during the COVID-19, we will continue to offer our Traded Service virtually and all Educational Psychologists (EPs) will continue to be flexible in their approach, so that they continue to provide SLA support, until such a time that schools are able to open again. The EPCS provides a service to schools and is available for advice, guidance and support through the Special Needs Co-ordinator/Headteacher.

5 day course - POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
The ELSA training is appropriate for TAs and Learning mentors working in mainstream and specialist primary and secondary schools. Upon being trained, the ELSAs have access to half termly group supervision sessions delivered by an Educational Psychologist which is vital to provide ongoing support for their emotional literacy work in school.

OUR 20/21 SLA PRICES REMAIN THE SAME AS 2016-2020! The EPCS has worked hard to keep its prices the same for the 5th traded year! The EPCS SLA's are contracted over the academic year. Each setting with an SLA will be allocated a link EP. The packages available are listed in multiples of 3 EP days as we believe this works best for providing time consistently across an academic year. However, we are able to provide any number of EP days per year as a bespoke EP package (minimum 3 to form an SLA) and additional SLA top-up days can be requested within the academic year charged at a flat rate per day. We also offer ad-hoc commissioning of EP time at any point throughout the academic year which is designed to meet the needs of each organisation - your individual requirements will be discussed and agreed through the EPCS. Time can be purchased to deliver Consultation, Training, Assessment, Research or Intervention. Please get in touch or request a quote with us to discuss your requirements. We will then recommend which of our services we feel will meet your needs. All Bi-borough schools are also entitled to the listed core statutory services uncharged.
