Precision teaching is an evidence-based intervention for teaching literacy and numeracy skills to pupils who require additional support for these skills. This is a prescribed approach which can be used with learners in primary, secondary, mainstream or specialist schools and ensures successful learning for all.
This training session for teachers and teaching assistants will include an overview of the psychological learning theories that underpin the approach and will teach you how to deliver a precision teaching programme to pupils. There will be opportunities to generate ideas about how to individualise the approach to your learners’ needs and practice activities to ensure you feel confident in being able to use the intervention in your school.
COST: £20 per person for schools that buy into the Bi-Borough EPCS SLA. £30 per person for all other schools.
Unfortunately we can’t refund any cancellations without 48 hours’ notice. However, we can offer you a space on one of our other training courses scheduled throughout the year. Please see our Training Events calendar to book.
